ah all sounds delicious--whatcha gonna do for chanukah? GF donuts? and yes next time you are in NYC, pls send me an email and let's go eat!
in response to your response--just found these guys, http://www.glutenfreeoatmatzos.com/index.html , i didn't even know this was possible!! i think we should start a jewish GF foods recipe round robin thingy, yes?
do you have an email?
Yes, those are the oat matzos I was talking about! I'm not sure where to find them here, but they're probably easy to find in NY. I might try making my own from scratch, though - I think as someone GF staying strictly kosher l'pesach is just not going to be possible. Maybe I will do Sephardic-style kashrut for Passover, which is a little more lenient with certain grains and legumes.
I think it would be fun to start a little listserv (a Yahoo Group, perhaps?) for Jews with food allergies so that we can exchange recipes... I'm willing to start it, if you think you'd like to join in. E-mail me at kneidlach at gmail.com
yeah jews and food, woo hoo!
i saw out matzohs two years ago, i didn't see that many this past pesach. i'm happy i finally learned to wait to read my food blog rss feeds until right before i started dinner.
everything sounds so yummy!! thank you!
ooh, thanks for the round - up, those look great.
BTB: Thanks for the shoutout!
Sorry I missed this!
