Keep on Cooking for Karina! [An Update]

Keep those submissions coming, folks! The food blog world is really showing Karina some love during this overwhelming time during which she's getting used to living with multiple food allergies. Bloggers from all over the world are creating recipes that avoid the allergens that make this fellow food blogger ill. There is still time to post a recipe (free of the foods Karina is allergic to) for inclusion in this blogging event! See my original post for the guidelines, including the list of foods to avoid. Please read them carefully. The deadline is Tuesday, July 10th. If you have your recipe posted and the link e-mailed to me by 11:59 PM EST, it will be included.

A Clarification: For people who've never participated in a blogging festival, here's a little more info: The goal here is for people to blog about recipes for Karina (i.e. to post the recipe on a publicly readable blog) and to send me the link to their blog post. I will then publish on my blog a list of these links with a little information about each. This is a great way to get some additional traffic for your blog. Recipes people e-mail me without a link to a blog post won't be included in the final roundup post. The only recipes included will be those that have been published on blogs and have had their links e-mailed to me at glutenfreebay (at) gmail.com

Non-Bloggers: Unfortunately, if you don't have a blog, you cannot participate in this event per se. However, you can feel free to e-mail me favorite recipes that fit the bill and I will gladly compile and forward them to Karina. I've been amazed at all the non-bloggers who've been sending me recipes and tips for dealing with multiple food allergies! They won't be published in the roundup post, but they will hopefully still bring more smiles to Karina's face.

Any questions? Ask 'em here!

Thanks to everyone for their support and participation. Pass the word on to your fellow food-blogging friends.

Hi, I'm a little late getting my email in (mailed it tonight but a few hours late) I am really looking forward to seeing those that made in time.

Sent mine in last week - hope you received it as I didn't get any confirmation? Maybe I'm just paranoid? o.O

Missy - I got it. Haven't sent out confirmations because I just don't have time, I have my hands full right now. Sorry! Thanks for your contribution.

Would it be possible for you to put together a word file with these recipes and email them to others with food allergies? Thank you so much!

Hello! It's me , Kelly, from CeliacChicks. Is it too late?! I hope not since you haven't posted all the recipes yet. I would have emailed you, but clicking on your email link didn't work for me.

Here is a link to my recipe for Karina. I hope it works! ;)

Kelly - I can squeeze you in but you didn't put a link in your comment, please e-mail it to me at glutenfreebay at gmail dot com (replace the at and the dot, obviously). Thanks!
