This turkey burger recipe also works well with beef, though cooking times may be slightly different. I find these burgers flavorful enough to eat without a bun and without condiments, I'll simply pair them with a vegetable dish and some rice or potatoes. Broiling is a nice, quick alternative to grilling for apartment dwellers, cold or rainy days, and lazy people such as myself.
(Nobody ever accused me of being a good photographer)Broiled Turkey Burgers1 pound ground turkey
3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
3 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
Mix ingredients thoroughly with hands. Shape into 4-5 patties, 3/4"
thick. Broil with burgers 3 inches from heat. Cook 5-7 minutes on each
side (burgers should brown slightly).

The burger looks wonderful!
We use turkey burger in place of real hamburger all the time. In fact, I can not recall the last time I had regular ground beef.
The blog is looking good... keep up the great work!
