First harvest.

My first harvest from our garden was a huge bag of baby dinosaur (lacinato) kale, which I turned into a big pan of this:

It's tofu, kale and tomatoes with parsley pesto and pine nuts. I will post the recipe at some point, but not at this moment because I'm a bit overwhelmed. I am in the middle of moving... to New Jersey. I am shacking up with my love. More on this later. I will have my own kitchen again - And some free time this summer. A good recipe for more food blogging, perhaps?

What are you cooking with harvest from your own gardens, or from farmers' market bounty?

That looks like a delicious meal, please do post the recipe when you get a chance.

The moles and cutworms have really cut into my spring garden harvest, but we have been eating a lot of asparagus and fresh herbs, like chives, parsley, dill and oregano.

Best of luck with organizing your move.

I can't wait for the recipe. Our CSA is about ready to deal out Kale & I've never cooked with it before...

Good luck with your move. I'm working my way through a bunch of kale and spinach as well. I dehydrated a bunch of spinach for throwing in soups and stews later on. It works great.

Ooh, that looks tasty!

Congrats on the move and best wishes to you and your love! Yay, exciting times! :) DH and I will be moving soon, too- to a better kitchen. I suppose the rest of the apartment is better too, but for me, the move is all about the kitchen. I can't wait. I bet you've already moved by now, but I hope the move was smooth and easy and you're having a great time in the new place!

Good luck on your move! And, I tried making scrambled eggs with tarragon as you suggested. Yum. I could also see adding in some chives with the tarragon. Very yummy!
