Show your support for the employee, Alexis, who came up with this excellent idea. She sees how under-served, deserving, and financially lucrative a market food-allergic folks are. All you have to do is CLICK HERE and vote for Alexis' idea, which is described like this on Martha's blog:
Alexis- Big Idea: To publish a special magazine that offers delicious allergy-friendly recipes, making life for people with food allergies and sensitivities easier and more delicious. Millions of people, including myself, can't eat nuts, dairy, wheat or gluten, and I’d like to empower people to make great recipes even if they can't use all the standard ingredients.
The food allergy magazine concept currently has a narrow lead.

ReplyDeleteLooks like the allergy/intolerance mag is far in the lead as of this writing... :)
This is great---thank you for sharing it.

Martha is sure to bring some great food and entertaining ideas to the allergic lifestyle! Always a good thing.
ReplyDeleteIf you are interested in a magazine that covers allergy topics, also be sure to see Allergic Living (www.allergicliving.com).
You've been tagged. It's a new blogger game that someone else started. Look at http://catsinthekitchen.blogspot.com/ to find out the rules.
ReplyDeleteI hope this happens. As much as Martha annoys me at times, the light she could shed on the GF lifestyle could have ripple effects into all facets of life. The awareness it could raise could mark a change for us all, making GF labling clearer, restaurants more aware, and products more readily available.
ReplyDeleteI'm keeping my fingers crossed!
The magazine won!
ReplyDeleteMissed the voting window for this, but hope it goes through! I would definitely subscribe : )
ReplyDeleteI would subscribe to this magazine only if it were reasonably priced.
ReplyDeleteI saw a gluten free magazine in the grocery store the other day priced at $7.95. You wouldn't expect to pay nearly $8.00 for any other recipe magazine!!
